<description>Excellent article, Steve! (I have a hard time thinking of you as Middle Aged, though...the consequence of not seeing you or being around you since, when...1983?!!)

My contribution to your article:
I believe that heart engagement and believability are important ingredients to stimulate involvement in a cause. If the cause is solely intellectual, involvement will die when something more interesting and emotionally engaging comes along. If the cause is illegitimate or not plausable, those with integrity will not commit themselves which will eventually lead to a death of the cause...unless there is a Jim Jones at the helm of a group of ignorant, naive, people not given to thinking through things knowledgeably with wisdom and understanding, and are easily manipulated into following a strongly opinionated, powerfully voiced individual.

Have a great evening!
